Palazzo Avino is een prachtig luxe vijfsterrenhotel aan de beroemde Amalfikust van Italië. Gebouwd in wat ooit een privévilla uit de 12e eeuw was voor een Italiaanse adellijke familie en geopend als hotel in 1997. Palazzo Avino is beoordeeld als een van de beste hotels ter wereld en beschikt over twee Michelin-sterren. Verscholen in het middeleeuwse heuveldorp Ravello en hoog op de kliffen. Alle 32 kamers en suites zijn ingericht met handgemaakte Vietri-tegels, antieke tapijten, meubels uit de 18e en 19e eeuw en koperen accessoires en applicaties. Palazzo Avino biedt een vergaderruimte met natuurlijk licht en aparte toegang voor maximaal 70 personen. Speciale feesten of evenementen kunnen ook worden georganiseerd op een van onze terrassen of in het privérestaurant.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
