Beijing National Stadium, officieel het Nationale Stadion, ook bekend als het Vogelnest (Niăocháo), is een stadion in Beijing, China. Het stadion is ontworpen voor gebruik tijdens de Olympische en Paralympische Zomerspelen 2008. Het stadion, gelegen in de Olympic Green, kostte US $423 miljoen. Het ontwerp werd in april 2003 toegekend aan een inzending van het Zwitserse architectenbureau Herzog & de Meuron na een biedingsprocedure met 13 definitieve inzendingen. Het ontwerp, dat voortkwam uit de studie van Chinese keramiek, implementeerde stalen balken om de steunen voor het uitschuifbare dak te verbergen, waardoor het stadion de uitstraling kreeg van een vogelnest. De toonaangevende Chinese kunstenaar Ai Weiwei was artistiek adviseur voor het project. Het uitschuifbare dak werd later uit het ontwerp verwijderd nadat het geïnspireerd was op het meest herkenbare aspect van het stadion. De grond werd ingeslagen op 24 december 2003 en het stadion werd officieel geopend op 28 juni 2008. Er zullen een winkelcentrum en een hotel worden gebouwd om meer gebruik te maken van het stadion, dat na de Olympische Spelen moeite heeft gehad om evenementen, voetbal en andere evenementen aan te trekken.

798 Art Zone (Chinees: 798; pinyin: 798 Yìshùqū), of Dashanzi Art District, is een deel van Dashanzi in het Chaoyang-district van Beijing dat een bloeiende artistieke gemeenschap herbergt, te midden van 50 jaar oude ontmantelde militaire fabrieksgebouwen met een unieke architecturale stijl.
