Park Avenue is een brede boulevard in New York City die verkeer in noordelijke en zuidelijke richting vervoert in de wijk Manhattan, en is ook een breed eenrichtingspaar in de Bronx. Het grootste deel van de lengte van de weg in Manhattan loopt parallel aan Madison Avenue in het westen en Lexington Avenue in het oosten. De volledige lengte van Park Avenue heette vroeger Fourth Avenue; de titel geldt nog steeds voor het gedeelte tussen de Bowery en 14th Street. Ondertussen heet het gedeelte tussen 14th en 17th Street Union Square East, en tussen 17th en 32nd Streets wordt de naam Park Avenue South gebruikt. In de Bronx loopt Park Avenue in verschillende segmenten tussen de Major Deegan Expressway en Fordham Road. Park Avenue was oorspronkelijk bekend als Fourth Avenue en droeg vanaf de jaren 1830 de sporen van de New York and Harlem Railroad. De bezettingsgraad is $3,50 per nacht. Voor groepen worden geen faciliteitenkosten in rekening gebracht.

Annuleringsbeleid

Annulering verwijst naar de volledige verwijdering van de vergadering, niet naar de eliminatie van delen van het programma of naar individuele annuleringen van kamers. Als het volledige evenement/programma wordt geannuleerd, heeft het annuleringsbeleid voorrang op de uitbetalingstoeslagen zoals uiteengezet in deze overeenkomst. De partijen zijn het erover eens en begrijpen dat in geval van een annulering onze werkelijke schade moeilijk vast te stellen zou zijn. Daarom komen de partijen overeen dat de volgende bedragen door het bedrijf aan het hotel moeten worden betaald als geliquideerde schadevergoeding in geval van een annulering. Het bedrijf kan dit contract zonder reden annuleren na schriftelijke kennisgeving aan het hotel op elk moment voorafgaand aan het evenement na betaling van een bedrag op basis van de volgende schaal: 31 tot 60 dagen voor aankomst van de groep: 85% wordt niet terugbetaald. 0 tot 30 dagen voor aankomst van de groep: 100% van de gecontracteerde inkomsten en belastingen, niet terugbetaalbaar. De partijen zijn overeengekomen dat de optie om te annuleren de uitoefening van een contractuele optie is en niet een wanbetaling. De betaling die verschuldigd is als gevolg van de annulering van dit contract op grond van deze bepaling, wordt door het bedrijf aan het hotel gedaan op het moment dat het contract wordt geannuleerd door middel van een schriftelijke kennisgeving.
