Het expositiecentrum ligt aan de oostkant van de rivier de Elbe, dicht bij het stadscentrum. Het is gemakkelijk en snel toegankelijk via het daarvoor bestemde parkeergeleidingssysteem. Het terrein van MESSE MAGDEBURG heeft een oppervlakte van 12.000 m2 en herbergt twee tentoonstellingshallen en een gedeeltelijk overdekte buitenruimte, die uiterst moderne technische uitrusting bieden in combinatie met de functionaliteit die wordt geboden door de veelzijdige indeling. Elke zaal heeft een oppervlakte van 3000m2 en een staancapaciteit van 3500. Hal 2 is uitgerust met een modern gordijnsysteem waardoor de zaal kan worden opgedeeld in aparte ruimtes, waardoor het geschikt is voor een verscheidenheid aan mogelijke individuele of gecombineerde evenementen, van tentoonstellingen en conferenties tot rock- en popconcerten, clubavonden en bals.
