Het Warner Grand Theatre in San Pedro, het eerste theater met geluidsapparatuur in de South Bay, werd geopend voor het publiek op 20 januari 1931 met een galapremier vol sterren. Jack Warner doopte het „The Castle of Your Dreams”, gemaakt door hoofdarchitect B. Marcus Priteca en ontwerper A.T. Heinsbergen. Pritica ontwierp later het beroemde Pantages Theatre in Hollywood en vele andere.
