Het amfitheater is ontworpen door The Smith Design Group en is uitgehouwen in de bestaande heuvel, waardoor een gelaagde kom is ontstaan. Om de herinneringen en het imago van het historische Boyd Park te behouden, is het oorspronkelijke paviljoen gerehabiliteerd en uitgebreid. Het zwembad is verwijderd om de uitbreiding mogelijk te maken, met een overdekte toegang tot het park, evenals nieuwe toiletten en concessies voor de grote open groene ruimte en het amfitheater. Italiaanse villa gebouwd in de beroemdste tuin van Georgië, uitgeroepen tot The Atlanta Journal op 30 april 1916. Het 13.000 vierkante meter grote huis werd voltooid in 1916 en werd ontworpen om sierlijk over te gaan in de tuinen - een reeks dwergbuxusparterres geplant door Sarah Ferrell, die al meer dan 175 jaar de terrassen van de heuvel sieren en wordt beschouwd als een van de best bewaarde 19e-eeuwse tuinen van het land.
