Gebouwd tussen 1609- 1616, is deze keizerlijke moskee een voorbeeld van klassieke Turkse architectuur, en het is de enige moskee die oorspronkelijk werd gebouwd met zes minaretten. Hoewel het in de volksmond bekend staat als de Blauwe Moskee, is de echte naam Sultanahmet-moskee. Passend bij zijn oorspronkelijke beroep versierde de architect Mehmet Aga, een student van Sinan, de grootste architect van de klassieke Turkse architectuur, het interieur kieskeurig als een juwelier, met blauwe Iznik-tegels die op alle muren werden gebruikt. De Blauwe Moskee is vijf keer per dag gedurende 30 minuten gesloten voor openbare bezichtiging tijdens gebeden.

Na de verovering van Istanbul door Mehmed de Veroveraar in 1453, begon de bouw van het Topkapı-paleis in 1460 en voltooid in 1478. As a solo artist, Kevin was the featured entertainer at UC San Diego’s commencement ceremony in front of 7000 people, and has played The Aventine La Jolla, Mission Bay Yacht Club, The Thursday Club, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar, Bernardo Winery, University Club, Kona Kai Resort, Cafe 21, The Prado in Balboa Park, Tipsy Crow, Mesa College Art Gallery, Del Mar Fair,Liberty Station, and Coronado Landing. Kevin was a standout alto saxophonist in elementary and middle school, then switched to tenor sax as an adult. Inspired by BB King’s killer horn section, Kevin began honing his skills playing the blues.
