Minoa Palace Resort & Spa Hotel ligt in het kosmopolitische gebied van Platanias, 12 km ten westen van het pittoreske stadje Chania en op slechts 30 minuten rijden van de internationale luchthaven van Chania. Het hotel biedt een majestueus uitzicht op het omliggende landschap en de Witte Bergen. In het noorden biedt het hotel een panoramisch uitzicht op het eindeloze gouden strand van Platanias met daarachter de glinsterende saffierblauwe Egeïsche Zee. Met de uitbreiding van het hotel in 2008 hebben gasten directe toegang tot het zandstrand, via de nieuw gebouwde luchtbrug, die de twee hotelgedeelten met elkaar verbindt. Het hotel biedt vergaderruimte die ideaal is voor gelijktijdige vergaderingen, lezingen, shows, presentaties, workshops en tentoonstellingen en recepties in combinatie met galadiners, recepties, banketten en cocktails.
