One&Only Moonlight Basin nestelt zich harmonieus te midden van de alpiene luifel van Big Sky One&Only Moonlight Basin markeert het mijlpaaldebuut van het merk in de Verenigde Staten en is het eerste alpine resort, dat het toppunt van ultraluxe bergleven van binnenuit belichaamt. Het ontwerp, de architectuur en de kunstcuratie ontvouwen zich als een gezamenlijke, verkennende reis, waarbij de gastvrijheid van Kerzner International, het wereldberoemde architectenbureau Olson Kundig, en Echo Arts, een boetiekkunstadviseur uit Montana, wordt gecombineerd. De discrete structuren van One&Only Moonlight Basin, die via kronkelige berghellingen door de dichte bossen van Big Sky en omringd worden door de iconische rivierwegen in het zuidwesten van Montana, gluren sierlijk uit de bomen naar buiten. Het resort biedt een diep gevoel van afzondering in de smetteloze omgeving van Moonlight Basin, waar verweerd hout met accenten van staal en steen de tonen en texturen van de omgeving weerspiegelen. Lage, brede daklijnen verdwijnen in het bladerdak van de Alpen en zorgvuldig geplaatste gebouwen bevinden zich op de helling — stil op het land en moeiteloos opgaand in de rijke wildernis van Montana. Kostbare grondstoffen kenmerken de samengestelde kunstcollectie van One&Only Moonlight Basin, geïnspireerd op de fundamentele elementen van Montana, water, hout en mineralen. Deze thema's weerspiegelen de complexiteit van de schoonheid van het landschap en komen tot uiting in kunstwerken die watersystemen en schaarste, de gezondheid en brand van bossen en de winning en terugwinning van mineralen onderzoeken. Warme, tactiele meubels worden gecombineerd met inventieve visuele verhalen die door het hele resort zijn geweven, gemaakt van natuurlijke materialen zoals hout met levende randen, eiken, steen, leer, wol en zwartgeblakerd staal. De op maat gemaakte stukken zijn een knipoog naar Big Sky, Montana, en verwijzen naar westers vakmanschap, van getextureerde bekleding en gehamerd beslag tot stenen salontafels en met de hand gestikte leren details.
