Over ons
Wij zijn een luxe vijfsterrenresort van Forbes in het noordelijke deel van Napa Valley, net buiten de stad Calistoga. Ons gloednieuwe resort is een boetiekhotel met 85 kamers en suites. Wij zijn het enige resort in een wijnland ondergedompeld in een Cabernet Sauvignon-wijngaard en onze culinaire ervaring en ervaring van druif tot glas is ongekend. Onze beide zwembaden (zwembad voor volwassenen en resort), Spa, Farm to Table Restaurant, Mexicaans geïnspireerd restaurant aan het zwembad en onze wijnproeverijen zullen gasten onderdompelen in een ongelooflijke Napa Valley-wijnlandervaring. Who doesn’t enjoy traveling, movies, music, games, and room escape challenges? We figured if we’d have fun building and testing these Tourist Scavenger Hunts, you would also enjoy doing them. This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout.

Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.

The Formosa Cafe

The Formosa first opened its doors IN LOS ANGELES in 1939: making its new debut in its 80th year. Located across from the then-Samuel Goldwyn studio, stars like Frank Sinatra, Humphrey Bogart, James Dean, and Elvis Presley would pop into the legendary Formosa Cafe regularly for dining and drinks. On any given day, patrons might have seen Ava Gardner dancing past the old, red leather booths, or John Wayne nursing a late-night scotch (he was caught making scrambled eggs in our kitchen one morning, after reportedly passing out in a booth the night before).
Among the interior design restorations is the full reveal of the iconic and original red trolley car, dating back to 1904 and is confirmed to be the oldest surviving red train car in existence. Boxes of autographed celebrity photos and storage units of original memorabilia have made their way back into the Cafe.
