Over ons

Met veel plezier presenteer ik mijn landhuis. Het dateert uit het begin van de 20e eeuw en is officieel erkend als een historische residentie en is de afgelopen jaren zorgvuldig gerenoveerd. Het ligt te midden van een landgoed van 10.000 m² met wijngaarden en fruitboomgaarden, op een heuvel op slechts 1½ km buiten Alba. De vier zeer originele slaapkamers met eigen badkamer van de villa zijn smaakvol ingericht met antieke familiestukken en beschikken over satelliet-tv, airconditioning, bad met douche en haardroger. Elke „" kamer met uitzicht "” brengt gasten in nauw contact met de heuvels en de torens en daken van het oude stadscentrum van ALBA.”

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
