Over ons
In 1142 stond in dit gebied het eerste gecertificeerde pension in Zwitserland. In 1932 veroorzaakte het eerste elektrisch verwarmde hotel in Europa nogal wat opschudding. Met deze milieuoverwegingen moest ook rekening worden gehouden toen het hotel tussen 2008 en 2010 volledig werd gerenoveerd en het hele hotel nu wordt verwarmd met behulp van hydro-elektrische afvalwarmte. Als historisch 4-sterrenhotel in het hart van het stroomgebied van de KWO regeert Hotel Hospiz majestueus boven het Grimsel-bergmeer.
