Our company was founded in 2008 by Alana Hoye Barnaba. Originally from upstate New York, Alana moved to New York City and immediately began her love affair with its food, history, and culture. For years before creating her company, Alana tried every type of food the city had to offer and began specializing in the tastes of ethnic neighborhoods. Some of her first experiences with the city’s culinary adventures were fresh dumplings and homemade mozzarella — foods included on the signature tour today. Soon after, Alana started Ahoy New York Tours & Tasting and has been sharing her love for the passion, culture, and history of the city through food tours of New York neighborhoods. Ahoy New York Tours and Tasting’s goal with each tour is for customers to leave not only with the knowledge of the area and full of delicious food but also an experience to tell friends and family about long after the tour is complete

The Tin Building by Jean-Georges is a sprawling, 53,000-square-foot culinary destination located in lower Manhattan’s historic Seaport. Dedicated to whole food and inventive fare, our ever-changing offerings are sourced from boutique producers with an emphasis on holistic development and environmental consciousness. ABC Kitchen: The cuisine at Chef Jean-Georges’ abc kitchen reflects a passionate commitment to the freshest organic and local ingredients possible. The restaurant’s changing menu focuses on local, sustainable, seasonal produce that does not use pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, insecticides, or GMOs. Meat, fish, and dairy are locally sourced where possible, from humanely treated, pasture-fed animals free of antibiotics and hormones. A rooftop garden provides herbs and microgreens. Teas, coffees, spices, wines, juices, and elixirs are organically cultivated on fair-trade cooperatives. The dining room includes found, salvaged, reclaimed, and recycled building materials. ABCV: Creative and forward-thinking plant forward dishes, tonic and cocktails, which highlight the best of mother nature. Nestled in the historic town of Bedford, New York, The Bedford Post Inn boasts a rich and storied past that dates back to the 18th century. Originally constructed in 1762, the main building served as a vital stagecoach stop along the Old Post Road, a major thoroughfare connecting New York City to Boston. During the Revolutionary War, Bedford and its surroundings played a pivotal role as a strategic outpost. The inn, with its vantage point and resources, is believed to have provided shelter and sustenance to soldiers and local militia. Stories passed down through generations suggest that the inn’s wine cellar may have been used as a hiding place for valuable supplies and even people during times of conflict. In the 18th and 19th centuries, weary travelers and postal riders would find respite within its sturdy walls, enjoying the warmth and hospitality of this rural haven. The inn’s strategic location contributed to its significance in the area, making it a bustling spot of activity for both locals and travelers. As transportation evolved and the age of stagecoaches waned, the Bedford Post Inn transitioned into a private residence in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The building’s historic charm and rustic architecture were meticulously preserved by its various owners, each contributing to its legacy. In 2007 actor Richard Gere and his business partner Russell Hernandez acquired the property, recognizing its potential and historical significance, they embarked on an extensive renovation project to restore the inn to its former glory while incorporating modern luxuries. Today, the Bedford Post Inn is managed by Sunday Hospitality. Whether it's enjoying a leisurely meal by the fireplace, exploring the scenic trails of Bedford, or simply soaking in the timeless ambiance, guests are invited to become a part of the ongoing story of this historic treasure.

The foundation of our product line is the renowned artwork of local artist David Crighton, who has been capturing the essence of your city through his memorable images since 1973.
