De huidige kunsttentoonstelling mag niet worden verplaatst, bedekt of vervangen en er zijn geen versieringen op de muren toegestaan. Alle cateraars of barmannen moeten een volledige vergunning hebben. Hillyer is in sommige gebieden toegankelijk voor mindervaliden, hoewel gasten met een handicap mogelijk problemen hebben om toegang te krijgen tot bepaalde delen van de zaal. Er is een kleine kitchenette beschikbaar, maar deze bevat slechts minimale apparatuur. Alle warme gerechten moeten buiten het gebouw worden bereid.
