The prime attraction of the museum is the majestic statue of Maharaja Ranjit Singh sitting proudly on a throne in the entrance of the museum. The museum has 12 different galleries, including Ancient History Gallery, Post Independence History Gallery, War Hero’s Gallery, Air Force and Navy Gallery, and more. Every evening a light and sound show is organized in the lawn outside the building, narrating a story of war heroes and their role in the war.
