In one of the most beautiful valleys of Carinthia rises, born from nature, a 150 meter high limestone rock that is visible from the surrounding mountains and hills: the Saualpe. The mountains of Friesach and Gurktal the Ulrichsberg, the Magdalen Mountain, Goerlitz and Villach Alpine, part of the Karawanken, the highlands of the Duchy of St. Vitus and the numerous adjacent castles and ruins (such Mans Berg, Taggenbrunn that Kraiger locks, Nussberg, Liebenberg, love rock and Karlberg) belong to the view that the visitor is offered from the castle Hochosterwitz out. In a spectacular medieval castle, the restaurant atmosphere invites you to savor the Carinthian cuisine.
