Facility The MassMutual Convention Center is truly the most diverse function facility in Western, Massachusetts and is the perfect venue for any size event. This state-of-the-art facility offers 100,000 square feet of flexible space including an elegant 15,000 sq. ft. Grand Ballroom, divisible into 3 sections; a 40,650 sq. ft. Exhibition Hall, divisible into 2 sections; and over 8,300 sq. ft. of breakout space that can be used as independent rooms or in multiple combinations to meet the most challenging agendas. 3 Pre-function areas with floor-to-ceiling windows encompass over 20,000 sq. ft. of additional space and compliment the convention space. The facility also boasts an 8,000 seat multi-purpose Arena ideal for concerts, town hall presentations, as well as sporting events including Hockey, Basketball, Volleyball, and Competitive Cheer. We have the ability to allow the most elaborate creative vision to come to life. Location Situated at the intersection of I-90 and I-91, at the Crossroads of New England, our location offers easy access to the entire Northeast. We are located in the heart of a vibrant, walkable downtown convention district with a variety of restaurants, shopping and attractions. Bradley International Airport is just 17 miles (20 minutes) from Springfield and Springfield’s Union Station provides daily Amtrak Service, as well as local Peter Pan and Greyhound Bus service. In 2018, we welcomed world-renowned entertainment & hospitality leader MGM Resorts International to downtown Springfield. We partner with the Greater Springfield Convention and Visitors Bureau to be the liaison between the MassMutual Convention Center and the hotel community for sourcing all of your guest room requirements. GSCVB also offers a full-service housing bureau and will assist with destination information, registration boosters, walking maps, and other information and services.
