The Horseshoe Inn is the part of the Prestige Collection, is to be found in the picturesque town of Herstmonceux overlooking the famous observatory and castle with spectacular and panoramic views of the Pevensey Levels. With 21 en suite bedrooms including family rooms and four–poster beds, a large car park, wireless internet access throughout, a superb restaurant, a bar serving snacks and pub food plus a traditional Real Ale Bar, this is a great place to stay. Fully licensed for civil weddings, it has 2 function rooms. The Castle Banqueting Room accommodates up to 120 people and is a perfect venue for matrimonial celebrations, meetings and events. The smaller Greenwich meeting room is ideal for executive board meetings, training and seminars. Come & have a pleasant stay with us.

The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.
