Using the company's LightStay corporate responsibility management system, Hilton provides a detailed estimate of the carbon emissions associated with a specific meeting or event at its hotels. South Pole and Hilton can provide clients with carbon neutral meetings by investing in high quality carbon reduction projects that are aligned with multiple of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals and Hilton's 2030 Goals. All of the projects selected for Hilton's portfolio are either Gold Standard (https://www.goldstandard.org) Verified Emissions Reductions or Verified Carbon Standard projects. Has your hotel taken steps to reduce single-use plastics, such as removing plastic straws (except upon request for guests with disabilities), stirrers and cotton buds? If yes, please provide detail as to the steps you have taken to reduce single use plastics?

Yes, Hilton is committed to reducing waste across our portfolio. All of our hotels were required to remove plastic straws, stir sticks and cocktail picks in 2019, and we are currently transitioning from individual bath toiletries to full-size dispensers.
