Birkhill Castle is located in Cupar, Scotland. It is the family home of the Earl and Countess of Dundee and their family. Guests will very quickly feel at home in the friendly atmosphere. Located on the shores of the river Tay a short distance from St Andrews, the castle offers a wide range of facilities for corporate and private groups alike. The castle is also a most romantic venue for weddings. Set in glorious countryside, right on the coast in North East Fife, Birkhill was built in 1780. The house is surrounded by beautiful gardens and guests can wander through these and see a number of rare trees and plants. Birkhill is primarily a family home with 10 elegant rooms & offers a warm welcome to all that cross its front door. Dining at Birkhill, whether a formal 5 course dinner or an informal lunch, has always been a relaxed one. We can seat up 20 people round the dining table or for larger groups can provide up to four tables of 8/10. All our food is prepared using the best local organic ingredients. These include vegetables grown in our gardens, game from the estate and salmon from the river Tay. Birkhill is the perfect venue for a corporate get-away, team building event or conference as it is both secure and secluded and yet close to both Edinburgh and Dundee airports. Its dining room seats 20 guests. In addition, it is the ideal venue for a relaxed, romantic wedding. The traditional aspects of the castle provide an ideal backdrop for a more formal ceremony and reception other guests prefer the informality of the garden, marrying in the tranquility of the rose garden and celebrating in a marquee.

Located in Rutledge Hill – just a few blocks south of Historic Broadway, in the heart of Downtown Nashville – Husk, from The Neighborhood Dining Group, is reinterpreting the bounty of the surrounding area, exploring an ingredient-driven cuisine that begins in the rediscovery of heirloom products and redefines what it means to cook and eat in Nashville. At Husk, there are some rules about what can go on the plate. If it doesn’t come from the South, it’s not coming through the door. The resulting cuisine is not about rediscovering Southern cooking, but rather exploring the reality of Southern food. Seed-saving, heirloom husbandry, in-house pickling and charcuterie programs by Executive Chef Ben Norton and his culinary team are the basis of Husk’s cuisine. Husk Nashville, located at 37 Rutledge Street, was constructed into the side of a hill between 1879 and 1882 by Dr. John Bunyan Stephens. Its storied history includes serving as Mayor Richard Houston Dudley’s home, where he lived when elected in 1897. The area was settled by the Rutledge and Middleton families of Charleston who were descendants of two of the original South Carolina signers of the Declaration of Independence. Mayor Dudley added the Carriage House located on property in 1890–which will serve as a space to satisfy the restaurant’s culinary whims and host private/special events. The design of the Husk’s interior spaces enhances the building’s roots while demonstrating a sense of Southern style, modernity, energy, and cosmopolitan flair.
