2006年、6年間の建設を経て、金沙遺跡博物館がついに完成しました。総面積は約38,000平方メートル（9エーカー）で、主に遺物館、展示ホール、文化遺産保護センター、エコロジカルガーデンで構成されています。近代文明と古代シュウ州（四川省は古くからシュウ国家と呼ばれていました）の文明が組み合わさり、生態環境と文化が組み合わさっていることから、中国の博物館の中でも珍しいサイト博物館です。 金沙遺跡博物館は、2001年2月に考古学者によって発見された金沙遺跡の遺物を保護・研究・展示するために建てられました。約5平方キロメートル（1,236エーカー）の面積に及ぶ金沙遺跡は、おそらく約3,000年前、シャン王朝後期（紀元前17〜11世紀）から春と秋の初期（紀元前770年〜紀元前476年）までの時代にさかのぼります。庄・周王朝（紀元前17世紀〜紀元前221年）の中核であり、三つ星杭博物館に次いで発見されたシュウ州の2番目の古代都市です。全部で63の犠牲スポット、6,000個の貴重な遺物、70以上の建築スポット、3つの中央墓地が発掘されました。

成都ジャイアントパンダ繁殖研究基地（以下、成都パンダ基地）は、野生動物研究、飼育下繁殖、保護教育、教育観光に従事する非営利団体です。 成都パンダ基地は1987年に設立され、6匹のジャイアントパンダが野生から救出されました。今日（2008年）、私たちの捕虜人口は、わずか6人の創立人口から83人に増加しました。集団の遺伝的多様性は、保存された遺伝物質を他の施設と交換することによって維持されます。私たちは20年間野生のジャイアントパンダを飼っていないことをとても誇りに思っています。これは、野生の（その場で）個体群の保護と捕獲された（その場の）個体群の健全な成長に対する当社独自の妥協のない取り組みを示しています。 動物の健康と福祉に関する私たちの研究と取り組みにより、私たちの基地で85匹のジャイアントパンダの子が生まれ、88匹が生き残り、現在83匹います。ジャイアントパンダを飼育している他の施設を支援するために、技術サポートを提供し、専門家を派遣して世話、飼育、繁殖を支援します。すべてのジャイアントパンダ研究者が知識を共有できるように、ジャイアントパンダの保護のための飼育管理を改善するための情報を世界中の研究者を招いて、ジャイアントパンダ年次技術会議を開催しています。 成都パンダ基地の面積は106ヘクタールで、第3段階では200ヘクタールに拡大する予定です。レッサーパンダ、ゴールデンモンキー、その他の野生種や絶滅危惧種がここに生息し、繁殖しています。
