Site Oud Sint-Jan congress and event centre is housed in a historic building: a 19th century hospital. Our congress and event centre is in the very heart of Bruges by the canals. Bruges has been declared a world heritage site by UNESCO. Bruges is a modern shopping city with an extensive offer of bars and restaurants. In addition to typical chips stands, you will find numerous bistros, brasseries and a number of starred restaurants. The cultural fare is quite extensive as well. Our congress rooms are situated in the historic city centre and feature all facilities to make every event a success. We have 12 multipurpose rooms that are very suitable for the widest variety of activities including Seminars, Congresses, Exhibitions, Meetings, Product shows, Concerts, Plays, Company parties, Wedding receptions, Fashion shows and Trade fairs.

OUR GOAL We endeavor to build touristic scavenger hunts that mix easy and tough challenges, that are family friendly and fun. Moreover, we really try to provide insight and discovery about the city you are visiting. Who doesn’t enjoy traveling, movies, music, games, and room escape challenges? We figured if we’d have fun building and testing these Tourist Scavenger Hunts, you would also enjoy doing them. This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout. Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.

The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era. Liberated from the confines of a single location, Covert Cocktail Club now brings the speakeasy right to your door—be it at your home, office, bar mitzvah, dinner party, bachelor/ette party or anywhere you choose!
