How to arrive?? Public Transport Metro: The L1 and L3 Metro lines each have stops near Plaça Catalunya, just 250 meters from the hotel. Bus: The bus lines with stops close to the hotel include the 59, 91, 120 and the V13, which crosses the city vertically. Night bus: Practically all the city’s night bus lines stop near the hotel, at Plaça Catalunya (N1, N2, N3, N4, N5, N6, N7, N8, N9, N11, N12, N13, N15, N16 and N17). Tourist bus: The stop closest to the hotel is Plaça Catalunya (both Blue and Red Routes), just 500 meters away. RENFE: The closest RENFE station is at Plaça Catalunya, just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. Regional railways: The closest station for Regional Trains is at Plaza Catalunya, just 500 meters from the hotel. Barcelona - El Prat Airport Aerobus: You can catch the Aerobus outside both terminals of Barcelona’s Prat Airport. Ride to the last stop, Plaza Cataluña. The hotel is just 500 meters from the stop. Metro (airport): The L9 Metro line stops at both terminals of Barcelona’s Prat Airport. Take it to Zona Universitaria, where you can switch to the L3 line. Get off at the Catalunya stop, and use the Rambla exit. The hotel is just 200 meters down the Rambla.

Hotel 1898 is an authentic gem to be discovered. Nestled in the heart of Barcelona, Hotel 1898 is located in what was once the headquarters of the General Philippines Tobacco Company. The magnificent structure was erected in 1881 and designed by Catalan architect Josep Oriol Mestres. In 2005, following extensive renovation by Núñez i Navarro, the building was reborn as the Hotel 1898, a unique spot with Colonial flair and a style all its own, offering the best of Barcelona to each and every guest.
