From most of our rooms you will enjoy the beautiful view of Calle Madero; from the corridors you will appreciate the town’s main Square and Cathedral framed by the spectacular sunsets over the famous Cerro del Muerto (Dead Man’s Hill). *Tens of legends are told about Cerro del Muerto and its origins. However, one of the most famous –and the one that gives it its name- is the one that follows: Because this hill resembles a man lying down, legend has it that this land was once inhabited by giants, during one of several battles, one of them died and his body became what we now know as Cerro del Muerto or Dead man’s hill.
