Caught in the middle of New York’s Lower Manhattan Neighborhoods - Soho, Little Italy and Chinatown - Moxy Lower East Side sits at a crossroads of entertainment and innovation. This property is anchored by a full service Japanese restaurant, two bars, a subterranean nightclub, and a rooftop lounge enlivened with the spirit of the absurd. For Corporate Travelers, local patrons and social groups, Moxy Lower East Side offers a mix of seating types that create opportunities for lounging, working or socializing. Dotted amongst the details of our lobby includes game tables, overhead plants, "hipster animals" and chandeliers featuring 3D-printed pin-up girls. Moxy Lower East Side is completed by 303 simple and pared-back guest rooms. Inspired by the circus and old-time menageries, the bold, playful bedrooms at Moxy Lower East Side are spirited havens designed with symmetrical shapes, bright hues, and clever space-saving solutions. Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.
