World Trade Center Macau occupies the top four floors of a magnificent 19-storey building on Avenida da Amizade. The striking steel and glass edifice, with its distinctive red external walls, was designed by renowned Portuguese architect Manuel Vicente. The Center's administrative offices, conference rooms, offices and parking areas are serviced by high speed panoramic lifts, and the overall impression is one of elegance, spaciousness and hospitality. Local and international members are invited to organize seminars and meetings in the Center's conference rooms. Venues can accommodate groups as small as six participants, and large as 408. The Lotus Room , located on the 5th floor of the WTC Building, occupies an area of 372 sqm, boasts a ceiling height of over 5 meters, making it a well-equipped venue capable of catering to most every needs. A highly versatile room, the Lotus Room has maximum capacity of 408 in a theatre-style setting and 204 persons or 17 tables for banquet settings. Support facilities include a pre-function area, permanent theatrical stage, a VIP Room, dressing and make-up rooms, sound and lighting control rooms and simultaneous interpretation booths.
