A pochi passi dal centro di Lecce Le Tagghiate è uno dei pochi esempi di edificio industriale progettato e costruito come fabbrica per la produzione di tabacco orientale agli inizi del 900, il locale attualmente adibito a ristorante-pizzeria con specialità tipiche salentine, con una meravigliosa brace a vista dove si possono gustare ottime carni accompagnate da buon vino scelto tra le tante etichette a disposizione della cantina tipica. La struttura dispone di una grande sala con 250 posti a sedere e viene utilizzata per matrimoni, feste e riunioni. In estate potrete godervi la piacevole frescura cenando circondati dal profumo di arancia della piantagione di agrumi.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
