Kasteel Erenstein is situated close to “Castle Erenstein” in the midst of the wonderful natural environment of the valley of the river Anstel. An authentic quadrangular farmhouse characteristic of the Province of Limburg, built in 1713, is now home to a splendid four-star hotel. The hotel has 45 luxury, junior, senior rooms and suites and one family apartment. Some rooms and suites also have a loggia or a private roof terrace. A comprehensive, delicious breakfast buffet is served every morning in the convivial conservatory, situated immediately adjacent to the attractive inner courtyard. The hotel also has an extremely comfortable lounge, a “Limburg” bar and a conference room. You will be given a warm welcome at Brasserie La Serre for a cup of coffee served with a piece of Limburg vlaai (sweet flan) or a light snack. GaiaPark Kerkrade Zoo is definitely worth a visit. This marvellous animal park is situated right next to the hotel, and we have our own entrance to the park, which our guests can use. The hotel has good connections with Maastricht, Aachen and Liège, all of which are only a short journey away. Nearby, you will find many day attractions such as the museum Industrion, the indoor skiing facility SnowWorld and the Mondo Verde world park.
