OUR FACILITIES Nestled in a sprawling Highland Estate of over 2400 acres, Pittodrie House was first built in 1480 as an L-plan castle. With links to Robert the Bruce – it was gifted as a reward for loyalty during the historic Battle of Bannockburn – it was a family home for centuries and retains fascinating original features like gun loops, stone sinks and gun room. Today it is sumptuously furnished and the ideal backdrop to a memorable conference or AGM. FOUR stunning rooms are available, including the Library which is a favourite of Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling, the stunning Orangerie with picture postcard views of the gardens – perfectfor a private dinner- the warm Billiard Room and the Ballrrom with its chandeliers and space for 150 guests.
