Il 22 settembre 1947, la sala Picasso fu inaugurata ufficialmente al primo piano, accompagnata da una prima esposizione delle opere di Antibes.
Il 7 settembre 1948, una mostra conferma il significativo arricchimento di 78 ceramiche realizzate nel laboratorio Madoura di Vallauris.
Il 13 settembre 1949, in occasione dell'inaugurazione della mostra «Tapisseries françaises», vengono aperte al pubblico nuove sale dedicate ai dipinti, alle ceramiche e ai disegni di Picasso. E il 27 dicembre 1966, la città di Antibes rende nuovamente omaggio a Pablo Picasso e il castello Grimaldi diventa ufficialmente il Museo Picasso, il primo museo dedicato all'artista. Infine, nel 1991, la dazione Jacqueline Picasso autorizza un ulteriore arricchimento delle collezioni Picasso.

This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout.
Simple And Fun
Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
