Over ons

Gelegen in het midden van de Chianti in de gemeente Impruneta, organiseert en organiseert Villa Corsini, pionier op het gebied van evenementen, sinds 1966 recepties. Onze missie is om een villa van buitengewone artistieke en culturele waarde te waarderen, door uitmuntendheid in de receptiebranche. Ons doel is om recepties te creëren en te organiseren die voldoen aan de behoeften van onze klanten: elke receptie moet uniek zijn, want elk van onze klanten is uniek. Wij zijn de scheppers van dromen: met meer dan 700 jaar geschiedenis op onze schouders, hebben in de afgelopen vijfenveertig jaar meer dan 420.000 gasten de recepties bijgewoond in Villa Corsini a Mezzomonte, hun tevredenheid bewijst onze professionaliteit.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.
