Established in 1880, the iconic Thompson House Resort was family owned and operated for over 140 years until Wydler Hotels became the proprietor of this magical property in 2021. Wylder is lovingly restoring, reimagining and honoring the heritage of this property while reinvigorating it with a fresh spirit for the future. We are excited to welcome a new generation of adventurers to this gem in the Great Northern Catskills. With 20 acres of pastoral land surrounded by the Batavia Kill and views of Windham Mountain, we have multiple meeting and event spaces to choose from, both indoors and outdoors. Facilitate a general meeting session at The Main Lodge or host one-on-one's with your team members in our non-traditional spaces in The Evergreen Lodge or The Pines Inn - there's a space here for everyone. In addition to meeting and event spaces, we have 110 guest rooms on property and can fit up to 137 guests on site (shared rooms) or 110 guests on site (single occupancy rooms). Whether your company is inclined towards adventure or relaxation, our team can offer a range of personalized activities and additions to make your trip an unforgettable one. On property amenities include a large heated pool, wood-fired saunas, pickle ball courts, fire pits sprawled around the property, an indoor recreation room, ice skating rink (winter only), lazy river tubing, hammocks, tree swings and so much more. Team building favorites include Afterhours by the Campfire, Nature Walks, Hosted Pickleball Tournaments, Paint N Sip and Team Karaoke at the Rec Room. The property also features an on-site all day bakery called Babblers Bakery which we take pride in our freshly baked croissants, blueberry muffins and strawberry rhubarb pie. Laid back in nature and welcoming in spirit, Babblers, our on-site restaurant, serves up classic and comfort fare all year long.
