About us
Harpenden Public Halls are set on the edge of Harpenden Common and offer an ideal venue for your function in very attractive surroundings. There is a choice of two halls for hire, accommodating both small and large occasions. A licensed bar is available and with kitchen facilities also available. The Eric Morecambe Hall is our main theater venue bringing the best in Comedy, Music, Drama and Dance to Harpenden. The smaller Southdown Room offers a more intimate performance space. We are proud to host regular events including the second longest running gang show in existence, the twice annual performances by the Harpenden Light Operatic Society, a number of youth theater groups including our very own Young Hearts and our regular weekly hires including The Harpenden Art Club and the Afternoon Bridge Society.
