Over ons

Het Assinos Palace Hotel werd opgericht in 1972 en was het eerste hotelgebouw in Giardini Naxos, een beroemde Griekse kolonie en toeristisch centrum. Het hotel heet Assinos omdat het dicht bij de rivier Alcantara ligt, van het Grieks dat „gezonde rivier” betekent. De 57 hotelkamers zijn rustig en geklimatiseerd, hebben een minibar, telefoon, badkamer, haardroger, kluis en internetservice. Het hotel is omgeven door boomgaarden, weelderige exotische planten en heeft een majestueus uitzicht op de Etna. Het is een van de meest fascinerende toeristische structuren, die op een verfijnde en elegante manier aan uw eisen kan voldoen. Daarnaast biedt het Assinos Palace Hotel volledig uitgeruste congreszalen voor maximaal 200 zitplaatsen.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
