Venture Centre 2000 This superb, purpose-built community centre, opened in 1998, is located on the A137 midway between Colchester and Ipswich, five minutes from Manningtree Rail station. The Venture Centre 2000 is the home of 1st Lawford Scout Group HQ and is available for hire for Weddings, Parties, business functions. The Centre comprises two halls, a professional kitchen, fully licensed and staffed bar, meeting room and spacious car park.
