Des événements passionnants se dérouleront au Duke Energy Convention Center en juillet 2024 alors que nous fermons le bâtiment pour une transformation du centre de 240 millions de dollars. Nous prévoyons une réouverture en janvier 2026, avec une installation qui offrira un tout nouvel extérieur, laissant entrer davantage de lumière naturelle dans le bâtiment, ainsi que des halls et des atriums ouverts plus larges pour améliorer la circulation et la fluidité du trafic. La salle de bal junior du 3e étage, d'une superficie de 17 326 pieds carrés, sera réaménagée et une terrasse extérieure sera ajoutée à la zone réservée aux réceptions, ce qui permettra d'offrir une expérience événementielle améliorée. Les salles de réunion du Centre seront modernisées, tous les principaux systèmes du bâtiment seront remplacés et l'efficacité énergétique sera considérablement améliorée. Enfin, l'entrée principale du bâtiment sera nivelée, ce qui permettra de mieux se sentir à l'arrivée, et un nouveau parc extérieur sera créé devant le centre pour accueillir des réceptions en plein air et des espaces de rassemblement. Ce sera transformationnel !
