Snowbird’s 600-room pedestrian village includes 80,000 square feet of dedicated function space accommodating groups of 12 to 1,200. Snowbird is a non-smoking resort. Outdoor smoking is only permitted in designated areas, 25 feet from any entrance, exit, window or air intake. No pets are allowed in the canyon, in the lodges or kept in vehicles during your visit, except by special permit (canyon residents, rescue and ADA service dogs). Little Cottonwood Canyon is part of the Salt Lake City Protected Watershed. For more information, visit keepitpure.com. No weapons of any kind are permitted on Snowbird property. Please lock them securely in your vehicle while visiting Snowbird. All points of sale at Snowbird restaurants, retail stores, lodging properties, the spa, tickets, parking & valet are cashless. Snowbird is accepting credit, debit and mobile pay. Reverse ATMs are available at no charge and are located at the Snowbird Center on Level 1 next to Wings and on Level 2 in the Snowbird Center lounge along with The Cliff Lodge lobby. Prepaid debit cards from the reverse ATMs are accepted anywhere, not just Snowbird.

LODGING CANCELLATIONS: The guest reservation lodging deposit is fully refundable up to three (3) days prior to the arrival date. Reservations cancelled within three (3) days prior to the arrival date will be charged one (1) night’s lodging, taxes and fees. Upon scheduled check-in date, reservations are fully non-refundable. Reserved nights not utilized due to no-shows, next day arrivals or shortened stays are considered cancellations, resulting in a non-refundable charge for the entire reservation. ** Snowbird's Lodging Cancellation Policy differs during ski season. 2017 Cliff Lodge renovation of guestrooms, meeting space, public space and spa plus two new meeting rooms (2,000 sf) and state-of-the-art boardroom. 2018 Bridge connecting Cliff Lodge with Snowbird Center, plus new 300 pp restaurant with large outdoor bar/patio, plus renovated Snowbird Center meeting rooms.

Has your hotel taken steps to reduce single-use plastics, such as removing plastic straws (except upon request for guests with disabilities), stirrers and cotton buds? If yes, please provide detail as to the steps you have taken to reduce single use plastics?
Snowbird solely uses agave-based straws upon request. The F&B outlets have cut out single use plastic water bottles and only use aluminum.
Does your hotel generate (onsite) or purchase (offsite) renewable energy (beyond your utility's standard offerings)? If yes, please describe your practices for generating or purchasing renewable energy.
Snowbird has a cogeneration plant that generates both electricity and waste heat that is used to heat the hotels and various locations around the resort.
