In the city centre of Maastricht, you will find the Vrijthof. Maastrichts biggest townsquare whichs hosts loads of activities throughout the year. Some of these activities are André Rieu's summer concerts, the Preuvenemint, Magisch Maastricht (christmas market) and more. When there is no activity at the Vrijthof you can enjoy the beautiful view of the historical city centre with loads of restaurants and café's.

Sint Pietersberg Grottoes

In the St. Pietersberg, a hill at the South side of Maastricht, the reclamation of marl as a building material has resulted in a vast labyrinth of corridors. Even today the walls and ceilings give information about the way in which the ‘block breakers’ worked. On the walls can be found numerous interesting inscriptions and drawings. Two corridor systems in the St. Pietersberg are open to visitors: Northern Corridor System and Zonneberg Corridor System

Treasure chamber of the Basilica of St. Servatius

A treasure chamber filled with tradition, history, religious culture and art. This is where Maastricht cherishes its greatest treasures. The shrine of St. Servatius, also called the Noodkist, is the most precious of these and contains part of the skeleton of St. Servatius, the first bishop of the Netherlands. The shrine is a beautiful example of Maasland (Meuse region) master craftsmanship. The treasure chamber also contains various other objects from the 6th century.

Our rooms are flexible in layout and setup, accommodating both small and large groups. The location is easily accessible and offers great parking facilities. To facilitate effective meetings, you can choose from three meeting packages based on the number of participants. MECC Maastricht offers meeting facilities for up to 12 people, 13 to 50 people, and 51 to 450 people. Food and Drinks: The restaurant 'Bar Bistro SAAM' is located in the conference center on Forum Square, at the heart of the Brightlands Maastricht Health Campus. It’s a place where knowledge can be shared and where social interaction between the various institutions and businesses in the area can take place.
