Hotel Monterey Kobe offers a glimpse into the architecture and atmosphere of medieval-era Italy. The hotel recreates the Romanesque character of a Northern Italian castle through its use of flagstones and arched colonnades. We invite you to rest in the comfortable sofas in the lobby area to cure your initial travel weariness. Then take a stroll through the courtyard where you can wander through the colonnades to the sound of flowing water from the fountains, helping to calm your spirit and evoke sentimental feelings of nostalgia. Kobe has a classical multicultural flavor due to the presence of China Town, the Foreign Residence Area and the Former Foreign Settlement.
