The oldest Steam Engine known as Ol' Sadie was built in 1890 in New Jersey, Ol' Sadie ran from November 1921 until May 1954. The Union Pacific donated the engine to the City. Surrounding the engine you can see a folk art fence constructed by hand by Floyd Young Sr. who was the last engineer to drive Ol' Sadie.

Big Boy Steam Engine

"Big Boy" the World's largest steam locomotive no. 4004 built in 1941, designed to be used specially for the Union Pacific railroad to travel from Cheyenne to Ogden, Utah. The Big Boy now retired is one of the last eight remaining on display. Cheyenne's Big Boy resides in Holliday Park all year around.
