From the architectural minds behind Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Shanghai Pudong has added a new landmark to the downtown skyline. Inspired by the Huangpu River, the hotel features a dramatic atrium that plays with light and color. Each of the 515 guest rooms and suites, modern and beautiful, overlooks Shanghai or the river. More than 34,000 sq. ft. of meeting space includes a massive, pillar-free ballroom and a culinary theater, revealed through smoked glass, to engage and entertain. Dining includes four restaurants, each with a distinct experience: a stylish grill and bar at Flint; elaborate buffets featuring international dishes at Merchant Kitchen; afternoon tea, light fare and live music at JW Lounge and the three-story Le Manoir Ling offering Cantonese cuisines with French fusion, a rooftop bar, karaoke and private dining.

As a solo artist, Kevin was the featured entertainer at UC San Diego’s commencement ceremony in front of 7000 people, and has played The Aventine La Jolla, Mission Bay Yacht Club, The Thursday Club, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar, Bernardo Winery, University Club, Kona Kai Resort, Cafe 21, The Prado in Balboa Park, Tipsy Crow, Mesa College Art Gallery, Del Mar Fair,Liberty Station, and Coronado Landing. Kevin was a standout alto saxophonist in elementary and middle school, then switched to tenor sax as an adult. Inspired by BB King’s killer horn section, Kevin began honing his skills playing the blues. He still loves rock and pop music and enjoys covering crowd favorites on his sax, all while pushing the limits of audience engagement, building epic solos, and creating the ultimate show.
