Gary and Ariel bring a wealth of industry expertise, having spent a combined 23 years with a major Marriott brand. Gary formally in both Sales and Meetings + Events before that, while Ariel served as Director of Beverage. Together, their deep insights and extensive experience make them true hospitality professionals. They specialize in premium soy wax candles, diffusers, room sprays, essential oils, and wax melts. Their products are available in boutiques across all 50 states, and they are also proud to be featured at a prominent location in Disney Springs. Each year, they produce around 50,000 units, with 85% of them being private-label or custom-branded for their partners. Ariel personally hand-blends every scent for their candles, diffusers, room sprays, and soaps, drawing on her expertise as a Certified Sommelier (yes, a professional "wine nerd") to create unique and captivating fragrances. She carefully selects and combines essential and fragrance oils from their trusted partners to ensure each scent is perfectly balanced. Situated below the historical L&C Tower in the heart of Downtown Nashville, Ophelia's offers signature pizza pies, classic Italian entrée's, specialty cocktails and one of a kind dessert experiences. "When we started working on the concept behind Ophelia’s Pizza + Bar, we were really inspired by the classic Shakespearean tragedy, Hamlet,” says Patrick Whalen, co-owner of the 5th Street Group.“ We wanted to reimagine European dining traditions and bring it to downtown Nashville's dynamic atmosphere." The menu focuses on Italian inspired cuisine created by Chef Partners Jamie Lynch and Adam Hodgson utilizing imported Italian ingredients as well as local Nashville products. Chef Jamie boasts an impressive culinary background including Le Cirque, Aureole and Café Boulud. Since opening Church and Union Charlotte in 2012, he has been recognized as Charlotte Magazine’s Best Chef 5 separate times. He competed on Season 14 of Top Chef in Charleston where he made his mark with his controversial decision to give up immunity, the only time in the show’s history, he also competed on Season 17 Top Chef All Stars LA. “We have created a menu that caters to both locals and visitors who are seeking a dining experience that combines the city's character with playful and classic flavors," said Chef Partner Jamie Lynch. "Our dishes are fresh takes on traditional favorites, and we're thrilled to bring another really great dining option to 4th Avenue in downtown Nashville.” Following dinner service each Friday and Saturday, Ophelia's will offer the After-Dinner Party Experience from 10:30pm-3am.
