Situated in the heart of Nagoya in "Fushimi", Nagoya Kanko Hotel was founded in 1936 as Nagoya State Guest House offering their services to distinguished guests from within Japan and abroad. A hotel boasting the longest history in Nagoya has since then become a leading luxury class hotel. The hotel is easily accessible by Shinkansen ("bullet train") with its lines from Tokyo, Shizuoka, Nagoya, Kyoto, Kobe, Hiroshima and Fukuoka as well as the conventional transit lines from "Centrair" or Central Japan International Airport, the prefectures of Mie, Gifu and Shizuoka all converging into Nagoya Station.
