The Bellevue Hotel Darjeeling is owned and run by the Pulgers in second generation, and in every way combines the peace and gentleness of that Tibetan family and its culture. Hotel is situated on the Mall, Darjeeling's prime area, and overlooks the Chowrasta, the main square with its magical mix of people from India, Nepal, Tibet, Sikkim and Bhutan. At the centre of Darjeelings pedestrian zone, their bright activities replace exhaust and engine noise. Well-furnished rooms are panelled throughout in warm juniper and pine, with polished wooden floors.
