About us
The Silk Road Tsongkha Hotel is located right across from the Ta'er Lamasery, on one of the eight-petalled hill that makes up the sacred Lotus Mountain. The hotel faces the Grand Hall of Golden Tiles, the very spot where Tsongkhapa, founder of Tibetan Buddhism, Master for Panchen Lama and Dalai Lama, was born. The Silk Road Tsongkha Hotel has 32 rooms, of which 16 are Tibetan style while the rest western style. All furnishings were developed and hand-made by Kumbum's lama artists. The hotel provides two halls and comprehensive meeting and conference facilities for your different scale of gatherings, meetings, conventions and social functions. Additionally, we can tailor our meeting packages to suit your individual requirements.
