About us

The Art Hotel Boston is at the heart of the innovative philosophy of Art Hotel Italia, where art is the leading figure of a new concept in hospitality. A dynamic hotel, a sort of “ongoing museum”, located in a historic building in the residential Crocetta quarter, surrounded by cultural institutions such as the Modern Art Gallery (GAM), the Merz Foundation, the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation and the former OGR. At our hotel we take design seriously, with each of the 80 rooms designed individually. The range of bedrooms goes from the famous Picasso Room to those dedicated to artists such as Yves Klein, Giulio Paolini, Antonio Trotta, Nicola Bolla, among others. The conference facilities at the Art Hotel Boston are conceived to combine functionality and technology with a pleasant, versatile setting. Designed for meetings, showcasing products or cultural events and parties, these spaces can be tailored to suit your individual requirements.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
