About us

Recently refurbished, the Carmen Hotel has been a strategic reference point for business stays and holidays for over 40 years. Located in an ideal, tranquil position (south-west of Milan, near the West bypass and just a few kilometres away from the Bisceglie stop on the MM1 "red line" underground), it allows you to reach the most important places in Milan and its province easily. Close to the hotel you will find a shopping area. Our guests will find a cosy, familiar atmosphere in which their needs will always be promptly met. All rooms were refurbished, sound-proofed and equipped with each and every comfort in 2007.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
