The Tampa EDITION was name 41 out of 100 for The 100 Best New Hotels in the World by Travel + Leisure. Located in the heart of Tampa’s bustling Water Street district, the 172-room property is near major sites like the Florida Aquarium, Tampa Bay History Center, the Hillsborough River walk, and several cruise terminals. Interiors by Roman & Williams honor the brand’s penchant for white walls, clean lines, and pale woods, but are juiced up here with vibrant Floridian shades of lime green, sunshine yellow, and turquoise. There’s a sizable gym and spa, and, despite its allure for 20-somethings, this is also a great family hotel. -June 7, 2023 | Hospitality Design Award: “Lifestyle Hotel Public Space” Hospitality Design (HD) magazine announced project and product winners during the 19th annual HD Awards ceremony. More than 500 people attended the event, held on Tuesday, June 6th at Cipriani 25 Broadway in New York, which honored the year’s best and most innovative achievements in design from around the globe. The breath of the industry was showcased across approximately 1,070 project and product submissions. The Tampa EDITION was the sole recipient in this category. This recognition speaks highly of the exceptional work done by Morris Adjmi Architects and ISC Design Studio in creating a unique and outstanding public space for the hotel.

We have removed single-use plastic, changed to large format bottles in guest rooms, use wooden key cards, shifted to boxed water, use stone paper for amenities, provide bamboo toothbrushes, and more. Our property team is focused on daily evaluations of operational practices to reduce carbon emissions, energy and water consumption, and waste production. Above all, we are proud to be part of the Water Street district, having recently achieved LEED® Silver certification under the category of LEED® for Neighborhood Development: Plan, which focuses on the design of public spaces and how they are used by the community.
