The hotel has just completed a $22.5 million renovation of the entire hotel. An urban retreat in the midst of the vibrant Gaslamp Quarter featuring dining, shopping, and nightly entertainment. Beautiful parks on both the North and South sides as well as a great playground on the South side. There is even rock wall style equipment and a huge slide. There are helpful and happy government employees, patrolling security guards, a little cafe, and clean restrooms! All of this comes together as contemporary style grounds that has had some recent updates in the 2020’s. There are many public concerts and festivals on the grounds as well. The fountain is usually full of children playing in the hotter months.
