Unique Rome Attraction The Amphitheatre Flavio, better known as The Roman Colosseum The building became known as the Colosseum because of a colossal statue that stood nearby. It was built in the 1st century CE at the behest of the emperors of the Flavian dynasty. Until the end of the ancient period, it was used to present spectacles of great popular appeal, such as animal hunts and gladiatorial games. The building was, and still remains today, a spectacle in itself. It is the largest amphitheatre in the world, capable of presenting surprisingly complex stage machinery, as well as services for spectators. A symbol of the splendor of the empire, the Amphitheatre has changed its appearance and its function over the centuries, presenting itself as a structured space but open to the Roman community

Located in the Campo Marzio neighborhood, on the central Via Del Babuino, All Saints Church is the main gathering place of Anglican and Old Catholic communities in Rome. A rare and interesting example of Roman influences in an 18th-century Neo-Gothic style, All Saint’s Church was erected in 1882 by English architect George Edmond Street, and completed by Italian artists Vincenzo Cannizzaro and Pio Barocci. Its spire was added in 1937. Today, the church is part of “Churches Together in Rome”, the city's anglophone religious congregation. It also participates in the activities of several religious movements, such as Sant’Egidio and Focolari. One can also experience music concerts orchestrated by the Accademia d'Opera Italiana.

The Capitoline Museums are housed in two palaces that face each other. The one on the left of Michelangelo's steps is the New Palace, which houses one of Europe's most important collections of sculpture. It was designed by Michelangelo and became the world's first public museum in 1734 by order of Pope Clement XII. The other palace, the Conservatori, houses important paintings such as Caravaggio's St John the Baptist and works by Titian, Veronese, Rubens and Tintoretto. A sculpture of an enormous foot that was once part of a statue of Emperor Constantine stands in the courtyard. One of the most famous pieces is unquestionably the "She-Wolf", a bronze Etruscan sculpture from the 5th century BCE to which the twins Romulus and Remus were added by Antonio del Pollaiolo during the Renaissance.

Strazzanti Sicily Experiences
Strazzanti Sicily Experiences
Scicli
Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
